Product details

Low-consumption graphite electrode is made of petroleum coke and pitch coke as aggregate, coal tar pitch as binder, which is made by raw material calcination, crushing and grinding, batching, kneading, molding, roasting, impregnation, graphitization and mechanical processing. High temperature resistant graphite conductive material, a kind of conductive material used in electric arc furnace smelting, its consumption is proportional to the power consumption. Modern electric furnace steelmaking uses electric energy and chemical energy to achieve the purpose of four removals (P, C, O, S), two removals (gas, impurities) and two adjustments (temperature, composition) in the steelmaking process.

Features of low consumption graphite electrode

1. Higher purity, higher density, and greater chemical stability;

2. Low coefficient of thermal expansion, resistance to cracking, spalling and thermal shock;

3. Higher mechanical strength and lower electrical resistivity;

4. Higher machining accuracy and good surface finish;

5. The advanced antioxidant treatment process, lower consumption, and longer operation life.
